CARAIB

CARAIB is a state-of-the-art dynamic vegetation model with various modules dealing with :

soil hydrology,
photosynthesis and stomatal opening regulation,
carbon allocation and plant growth,
litter and soil carbon dynamics,
vegetation cover dynamics (natural ecosystems, grasslands and crops).

Sub-modules also exist for savannah and forest fires, as well as for seed dispersal.
