Unit for Modelling of Climate and Biogeochemical Cycles
The Unit for Modelling of Climate and Biogeochemical Cycles (UMCCB) is a research unit within the Astrophysics, Geophysics and Oceanography department (AGO) of the University of Liège. UMCCB research focuses on the dynamics of climate, vegetation and the biogeochemical cycles. UMCCB researchers are using/building numerical models with the aim of, for instance, projecting the impacts of future climate on terrestrial ecosystems or of reconstructing past atmospheric CO2 levels over geological times. UMCCB staff members are teaching within the Master in Geography (Climatology) and the Master in Space Sciences of the University of Liège.
